Art ideas: Plotting human emotions

Emotional imaginery is becoming more popular. For example, Jane Davies, a student of the University of Southampton decided to use a human face as a canvas to display emotions such as happiness, disgust, suprise etc. As human emotions are indeed unpredictable, a student plotted the points, according to where the emotions were felt the most on her face. Akward but interesting!

Artwork: Melancholy souls

"Her dreamy feminine portraits have been described as reminiscent of vintage postcards, her subjects like melancholy souls staring out at you through disguised, beautiful faces" The artwork is highly professional yet different from everything else.

artful mood: fear versus happiness
being scared
being happyCan you think about things or situations you are scared of? And that usually your fear exists in your head- and it has nothing to do with people and things around you. Well overcoming your own mind is a big challenge. It sometimes tells you things that are not true..but if you stop it from letting you down: the fealing of personal power and victory will make you fell superior and you will enjoy the calmness of the peacful music

They say that in fashion ilustration the figure should be drawn long and slim with unrealistically long legs...It looks out of proportion as almost everything is exaggeratedly long. the wais is very slender. The image: Arturo Elena

artful mood: being human

Man, indeed, describes more than he explains; while the angelic spirit sees and understands. Man judges nature in relation to itself; the angelic spirit judges it in relation to heaven. In short, to the spirits everything speaks. (Fine Art Centre Uk)
Ten Rules for being human by Cherie Carter-Scott
1. You will receive a body. You may like it or hate it, but it's yours to keep for the entire period.
2. You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called, "life."
3. There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial, error, and experimentation. The "failed" experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiments that ultimately "work."
4. Lessons are repeated until they are learned. A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. When you have learned it, you can go on to the next lesson.
5. Learning lessons does not end. There's no part of life that doesn't contain its lessons. If you're alive, that means there are still lessons to be learned.
6. "There" is no better a place than "here." When your "there" has become a "here", you will simply obtain another "there" that will again look better than "here."
7. Other people are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself.
8. What you make of your life is up to you. You have all the tools and resources you need. What you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours.
9. Your answers lie within you. The answers to life's questions lie within you. All you need to do is look, listen, and trust.
10. You will forget all this.

Pop art Tate modern London

Why an installation art has become so ubiquitous? and why everything can be an installation as long as it has art status conferred on it? I have seen the most cunning exhibition imaginable. An unexpected mixture of everything: sex, music, animals, louxoury and holywood stars in colour...to mention a few. These are confusing times for the visual arts audience, which is growing rapidly. However being confused need not be a bad thing for you since at least it compels engagement from you.."The graphic scenes of sex and nudity in Tate Modern's latest exhibition made me uncomfortably aware of the act of looking – but left me unsure as to the art's purpose"J.Flanders
