Figurative elegance

Paintings by Anna Razumovskaya .

"With her classic figurative forms, highly acclaimed Russian artist Anna Razumovskaya magically captures the lyrical romanticism of renaissance portraiture, while creating art that is completely modern and original. Anna is inspired by the graceful elegance of the female form, at turns, classically alluring, demure and provocative. Her art has a pervasive sense of ‘romanticism’, and the passionate and dynamic application of paint on the canvas and the artist’s signature use of expressive colour, combine to create her uniquely recognisable style".

Artwork: Melancholy souls

"Her dreamy feminine portraits have been described as reminiscent of vintage postcards, her subjects like melancholy souls staring out at you through disguised, beautiful faces" The artwork is highly professional yet different from everything else.

African Style (1)

African style via Jaxine

"I love exploring life through the eyes of an artist. I am an eclectic artist. I use almost all of the media, and let my imagination run wild. I also like getting new artists excited enough to explore." - Jaxine

Drawing fashion

Michael Sanderson creates a great ilustration work. You can draw an insipration for your own style. A modern twist of sophistication - "He combines three different illustrative styles, either working together or independent of one another, to create a sense of energy and excitement in each painting"

Figurative art

Figurative art describing human figure is most catching. Paintings are always derived from real object sources, which makes them very appealing and intriguing.

Pop art Tate modern London

Why an installation art has become so ubiquitous? and why everything can be an installation as long as it has art status conferred on it? I have seen the most cunning exhibition imaginable. An unexpected mixture of everything: sex, music, animals, louxoury and holywood stars in colour...to mention a few. These are confusing times for the visual arts audience, which is growing rapidly. However being confused need not be a bad thing for you since at least it compels engagement from you.."The graphic scenes of sex and nudity in Tate Modern's latest exhibition made me uncomfortably aware of the act of looking – but left me unsure as to the art's purpose"J.Flanders
